Biography:

Lyra was raised in an orphanage. Her mother abandoned her there, and while most of her fellow orphans would give anything to meet them again, Lyra honestly couldn't care less. She loathes her parents for leaving her there, she nurses a secret curiosity about them. Since receiving her Hogwarts acceptance letter when she was eleven, she has been curious to her blood purity (not that she shows it to people).
She is constantly guarded in the way she acts. Many years of being ridiculed and tormented by the local village boys about the strange things she did has hardened her and she distrusts easily. Lyra is sarcastic and cynical, yet intelligent. She prefers books over human company, hence why her favorite place in the whole school is the library.
