Family: His parents, John and Evanna Lupin
Biography: Remus was born in the little town named Blackpool, where he lives with his parents in a small house at the edge of the town. On a very unfortunate night, Remus got attacked by a werewolf and since the age of six he has been suffering from lycanthropy himself. His parents support him in this, however, and he tries to make the best of it. His being a werewolf nullified Remus’ self-esteem and is one of the main reason that he is his shy, silent self.
Though he was incredibly scared of going to Hogwarts because of his condition, Remus loved the castle from the first moment he set foot in it. He befriended the other Marauders, who help him forget what he is and bring out his mischievous side, though he’s probably a little more careful than his friends.

Personality: Remus grew up knowing he was not normal, even in the wizarding world. Since his first transformation he knew he was dangerous and that people were going to judge him, which they did. He didn’t want to hurt anyone, though, and because he was scared he would he often stayed away from people. Remus is well mannered and grateful for the good things he gets in life, since he know he has not been very lucky in the past. He never, ever tells anyone about his condition.
Remus isn’t usually comfortable around strangers, but once he’s comfortable he can be fun to hang out with. He is very studious and doesn’t believe in violence, and because of that, combined with his calm behavior, people often wonder why he didn’t get sorted into Ravenclaw.
Remus always tries to be as good a student as possible, but people tend to underestimate him when it comes to the pranks his friends pull. Though he’s often against the most extreme plans, and tries to avoid getting detention as much as possible, he’s a great strategist and puts that to use.
