Hidden in tunnels under New York city is Alecto, a safe haven for wizards and creatures alike.

Voldemort has taken over the British Ministry of Magic, but the American Government, which was silent during the takeover, is launching a counteroffensive to protect not only it's own borders, but the borders of every country in the world.
